The Details.....
Match Night runs The South Yorkshire Business 5-A-Side Football League. The league is designed specifically for companies and workers in South Yorkshire. We're giving you the opportunity to compete against your rivals to find out which company has the best football team. Plus, you'll have the chance to win the coveted title of South Yorkshire Business League Champions!!
Who Can Enter: The league is open to all companies in South Yorkshire.
How To Enter: Go to the league finder and choose "Sheffield" and "Football". Then select "The South Yorkshire Business League" from the leagues listed in the drop down menu and click "Join League". You will then be taken to an application form where you can enter your team details. Once we have received the application we'll be in contact with you to discuss the next steps.

Venue: The league will be held at Concord Sports Centre (Sheffield)
The Fixtures: Each match will last 30 minutes. All matches in a league will be held on the Tuesday nights. Kick off will be between 5.30 and 9.30pm – you can specify the kick off times that best suit your team on application.
League Format: Our leagues are FA affiliated. They are run across mini seasons for added excitement so no-one gets bogged down in mid table obscurity. The league will consist of between 6 to 8 teams. A season will last approximately 10 to 14 weeks, during which each team will play each other twice.
There are two divisions in this league a Premiership and Championship, so there will be two promotion and relegation places each season. Match Night will try and match your team’s ability to the right division. If places are not available your team will be entered into the lowest division – however due to our mini season format teams can quickly move up the divisions. Seasons will run back to back throughout the year and new teams can enter at the start of each season
Hassle Free: As with all our leagues we will take care of everything - all you need to do is turn up and concentrate on guiding your company to glory!!
Cost: £25 per match plus a £15 registration fee. In an average season each team will play between 10 and 14 matches. We are happy to take payment from individuals or from the company.
When does the New Season Start?: The new season will kick off on Tuesday 13th February 2007. Places are limited so we recommend you get your application in as soon as possible. We look forward to welcoming you and your team to The South Yorkshire Business League.
