Champs Win The Sheffield Netball Premiership Title – Summer 2011

Wednesday 21st September saw Champs crowned Premiership champions for the first time in their history. Defending champions Dynamix finished as runners up.
A new name was engraved on the Premiership trophy this season, as Champs clinched the title by eight clear points. Champs played some scintillating netball this season as they held off the challenge from former champions Dynamix and Wadsley Jack. They fired in a staggering 533 goals on their way to the title. A clear sign that not only did they the win the title, but they won it in style. The question is can they make it two in a row next season!

The player of the season award was won by Donna Rushby from Dynamix, with an impression record of seven nominations.
