Court Out Win The Sheffield Netball Championship Title – Summer 2011
23 Sep 2011
Wednesday 21st September saw Court Out crowned Championship winners and gain promotion to the Premiership. The runners up position and final promotion place went to The Toyoda Girls.
Court Out stormed to the Championship title and into the Premiership with a sensational season long display. The team put last season’s disappointment of just missing out on promotion behind them - making no mistakes this season and enter the top flight as well deserved champions. It marks a return to Premiership netball for Court Out, after a five season absence. They will hope they can carry this form into the new season and make a big impact on the Premiership.
Court Out - Championship Winners
The Toyoda Girls held their nerve on the final night of the season to edge out High Green Cyclones and clinch the runners up spot by just two points. It’s means Toyoda Girls return to the big time after just two seasons in the Championship. At the other end of the table The Shadows achieved the unwelcome record of two successive relegations. However, we are sure they will bounce back next season!

Toyoda Girls- Championship Runners Up
The player of the season award was jointly won by Di Nicol from The Toyoda Girls and Amy McGibbon from The Braunettes – both finished the season with an impression record of seven nominations.
